SIEDI-HUB LAUNCHES AN INNOVATION HUB IN ABIA STATE

Our work will focus on social development policy engagements at the state level. We will adopt a collaborative and capacity-building strategy to empower young people to work with policy stakeholders to influence policy-making processes that will reflect the identified priority needs of our demographics. We will also implement direct intervention programs to improve access to healthcare services through preventive health outreaches and advocacy for improved service delivery in primary healthcare facilities. Through our sisterhood connect program; we will tackle social justice issues, such as sexual/domestic violence and child abuse, by providing wrap-around services (psychosocial, financial, legal, and other necessary support) to victims and survivors; support smallholder farmers to improve their productivity and profitability through agripreneural empowerment programs. Finally and most importantly, we will design and implement various innovative youth capacity strengthening programs to hone their socio-economic empowerment skills that will help reduce factors that contribute to their social exclusion”
